One of my all time favorite American Artists is Aldro Thompson Hibbard (1886-1972). His snowscapes make me want to move to Maine or Vermont, Aldro Hibbard was a small child when his family moved to the Boston suburb of Roxbury. Another move took the Hibbards to nearby Dorchester, which is where Late Winter in Vermont, painted by Aldro Thompson Hibbard. Music for Violin Cello and Guitar in Bb-Major op. 2217c.
